The world is a filthy place.

But even so,
No one enjoys hanging dirty laundry outdoors.

After Mahfirate repaid all her loan,
The US$25 has gone around to do good again.

I had initially wanted to someone,
Dealing with Healthcare or Education,
Or someone in Southeast Asia,
But according to my personal plan,
A 6-month loan is more desirable,
Hence I have to give that up for this round.

To keep the money in Asia (and Tajikistan),
I gave a loan to Nodira Boimatova(below),
Who is running a jewellery business in Khujand.
Go, $25, go!

(Seems like it is freezing in Tajikistan!)

Congratulations, Mahfirat Jaborova!

Five months ago,
I lent US$25 to this woman from Tajikistan,
As part of a US$500 loan from Kiva lenders,
To fund her footwear business.
Today, this honest good woman has repaid all her debt.
Good luck to you!

This brings about incredible satisfaction in me.
A wonderful way to kick off a new year!

Now I need another candidate for my $25! :)

A picture of TWO sets of papers from Sunday.

Kinda sad and thin isn't it?

To quote my colleague:
"Everyone in SPH went on vacation already?"
