Quiet Drinking Sessions Desired

Beach Ball Babes ended on Friday,
Which in a way is great,
Because it means that I can stop rushing home,
And start spending more time in the office,
Burning my youth away in front of the monitor.

On Thursday, however,
I was all prepared to miss an episode of the show,
To check out the Garden Festival at Suntec,
With company that beats Joanne Peh hands down.
Unfortunately things took a twist at the eleventh hour,
Freeing me up to be home alone watching the lame show.

Since that moment,
I've been suffering from a 'blah' feelings,
That she aptly coined as ---
"Lao hong*".
