Big Love,
Forwarded to me by Miss T.

For those who hate the world,
Too bad for you.

Seems like it is easier to lend out money on Kiva now,
Cos when I do a search I actually get many options.
Result of economic turmoil?

Anyway the latest in my portfolio:

Marina Pacheva runs a leather business,
In Melitopol, Ukraine.

Yeah it's partly because I wanted Europe in my folio...
Is that superficial??

Back Up!

And make that a double.
Just because I didn't scrutinise through my backup files,
Before reformatting my external hard disk,
From NTFS to FAT,
I lost all the design work I have done the last 2 years,
Plus tons of music (my secondary concern).
So I had to try to be more geeky,
By some DIY data retrieval.

Thanks to File Scavenger,
And a whole chunk of other data recovery freewares,
I am slowly and painfully trying to find what I have lost.
May not be 100-percent though. :(

So remember,
When you back up,
Remember to check,
And back up TWICE for the important stuff!

PS: I didn't realise switching to mac can be that painful. Hum.

Kiva changed their regulations,
Such that lenders can get back every little bit of money,
As soon as the borrowers have returned them.
So we get like a small monthly amount in our kiva account,
Which adds up to allow us to send the money around faster,
To fund more other loans.

The latest to be added to my portfolio:
Marina Ramirez De Remirez from Peru.

I thought what I needed,
Was to figure what I want at the end of the day,
In order to establish my expectations,
And the dynamics of our relationship.
(Because you certainly always knew what you wanted,
So that is the least of my worries.)

But the reality is that,
I don't even know if there is anything left,
For me to figure out at all.

Afterall, I am known to be too trusting...
