The men from the cleaning company came today,
To have a mini meeting with Richard and I,
Only to reaffirm that the cleaners didn't take the box.

In my humble opinion,
There are only 4 possibilities,
Of what happened between 2030h when I left on Tuesday,
And 0930h when Millie came in on Wednesday,
Be it intentionally or mistakenly.

1. Cleaners removed the box
2. Someone in the office removed the box.
3. 3rd party (eg. thief) sneaked in and removed the box.
4. Heavenly intervention/box grew legs and walked away.

I have sent an email to the whole office enquiring,
If anyone has taken the box by mistake,
And no one seemed to have a clue.

So if 1+2+4 are out,
That leaves us option 3.
Unfortunately the office has no CCTV.
And because Option 1 is out,
Due to the cleaning company's claim,
And the firm belief of our facilities head,
There is no compensation of any sort.

Without a doubt,
Nothing can compensate my 2 years odd,
Spent taking notes meticulously for my portfolio.
But I am sure it could help replace my headphones,
And the brand new coffee press.

Frankly speaking,
I don't think anyone really gives a shit,
To this tragedy I have suffered.

After waiting three days to hear such a conclusion,
This seems like such a fucking sweet result.
