At the Natural History Museum in London.
Underwater/Sea creatures section.

Phoebe: Wow this must taste really good.
Jack: Yum. I miss BBQ sambal stingray.
Phoebe: Oh ya! It is like some famous Singaporean dish!
Jack: Slurp. Come to Singapore.
- Sarah gives a disgusted look -
Us: Sorry we are Chinese, we eat lots of stuff!

And just when I thought,
I'd be so deprived of the Western world in Singapore,
Two English girls I met at a house party last year,
Will be visiting Singapore in August for a bit.
Brilliant!

By the way,
My hair is 'canary yellow' again.

Two years...

... and 4 days ago,
I officially step foot on Europe.
Heathrow Airport in London,
To be exact.
Time has passed so quickly,
That I didn't notice this.

I still remembered that day.
The sun was up shining bright,
With cool breeze blowing.
A false illusion of life in London,
But I didn't know better.

Being on the Piccadilly Line,
The overground section,
Made me feel hopeful,
Cheery though a little afraid.

Today I ask myself,
What have I achieved?
I have some answers.

Have I achieved what I was seeking?
That, I have no answer.

Just when I thought,
My illness will stop the madness,
It didn't.
Activities were still packed.

Walk and cheap dinner in Mayfair,
After failing to enter Hard Rock Cafe;
Slogging for planning meeting;
Dinner with Tams at Churchill Arms;
Soho Square + Friendly Society + Trash Palace;
Gourmet food in Regent's Park;
Fly-fishing at Guilford;
Keitai brainstorming...

Life is short,
And we're running out of time.
So I think it is all worthwhile.

Especially when I chanced upon a webpage,
Featuring a certain legendary babe.

I thought it would be a great idea,
To warm up the dusty MD player,
That has been sitting on the shelf.

And for some strange reasons,
I also thought it would be nice,
To listen to the "Heartbreakers" album,
Compiled right after my first break-up.

And alas,
This bizzare mix of songs,
Has sparkled the feeling,
Of youth slipping out of my soul,
Right on the eve of 25 years and 9 months,
Since I was created.

The lack of practise,
Has led to poor liver performance.
After a mere 3.5 pints of beer,
During a post-work Friday pub session,
Resulted in poor conversational skills,
Demonstrated over late dinner with Ming.

Uh Jack, are you drunk?
You just told me that!

Oops.

Cardiff and Bath for the long weekend.

Cardiff was packed with football fans,
Due to the 3-day-long championship finals,
To determine which teams will get promoted.

The memorable part of the weekend,
Was kicked off by a very coincidental incident in Bath.

In the YHA bar area there were two ladies,
With their unmistakeable Singaporean accent.
I walked into a dining room,
Filled with teenages with the Singaporean accent.
Obviously a school trip.
As I was being reminded of how an ex-classmate,
Was suppose to come to UK with her JC group,
I saw her standing right in front of me.
POACH!
It must have been 6 years since I saw her.
Spent the next day hanging out with her tour group,
And had a very splendid time,
Under the influence of the youthful energies around.

I so love randomness.

Did you know that hairdressers,
Are people who are happiest with their jobs?
The most depressed ones include architects.

What was your hair style like?
I can't tell from this pile.

A long overdue haircut yesterday,
Gave me the shortest hair length I ever had,
Which includes 1-cm fringe hair.
Much thanks to my constant 'yeah ok',
To the very charming hairdresser at Soho's Mr. Topper,
Who reminds me of a hairdresser 6000 miles away.

Maybe I ought to aim to marry a hairdresser.
