After days of contemplation,
I have decided to go with my gut feeling,
To sign my contract with Lekker.
They have an interesting portfolio,
And the people seem genuinely nice.
(We even went for lou hei on Friday!)
Let's hope my intuition will be right this time.
DD leaves for London tonight,
And last night's goodbye do at St James,
Turned out to be one of the best,
And the longest party I have had for awhile.
I actually didn't pay the midnight surcharge,
For my cab ride home!
Summary of my St James Power Station experience:
Movida's design was pretty interesting,
But the crowd was a little strange (at 4am);
Gallery Bar had really cosy sofas,
And the typical cosy lighting;
Bellini Room was not the typical jazz place -
I particularly liked the bottled feature wall;
PowerHouse lives up to its name,
Pumping the adrenaline like those European clubs;
Dragonfly gave an amazing insight to Cantopop -
I never knew the intensity of this genre;
TigerLive was... just a little bit strange with the hosted show.
And of course,
The brains of St James was smart enough,
To provide the Station Kitchen,
A convenient place for people to have supper post clubbing!
Definitely a place to check out,
For people interested in design, clubs and bars.
Much better than Ministry of Sound SG (and cheaper too) !
