Everyone rushed home to watch The Little Nonya's last (2) episodes today.
Even though the end is pretty predictable,
Somehow we are all suckers who will still watch it.
LOL.

There are some parts I found quite lame:
1. Saying Felicia Chin looks like Joanne Peh
2. How Felicia Chin never noticed she doesnt look Eurasian AT ALL
(I am sure others have more on their lame list)

Heard that Bengawan Solo is thriving from the show,
And nonya restaurants are also getting crowded.
I bet community centres are offering nonya cuisine courses,
While the heat is still on.

I was told by my nonya friend,
That Meritus Nagara Hotel has the best peranakan cuisine.
Just did a search for "House of Peranakan Cuisine",
And it is now known as Pan Pacific Orchard.

"New Year Resolutions" time again!

I think they are going to sound the same as last year,
If not very similar.
(Thinking of how to make this not look like a 'to-do' list)

2009 Resolutions
1. Travel to at least one new city
2. Have an exercise plan - and follow through! (twice a month)
3. Get a new name
4. Increase my nett worth by 20%
5. Continue trying to get rid of the word "assistant" on my namecard
6. Be less critical / give only constructive comments
7. Read more (design books, newspapers)
8. Do a nice freelance design project
10. Pick up a new skill
