Jack Johnson never fails to remind me of Nicole Campanella.

* * *

Celine bought a Peugeot 207 recently,
But she had some tough decisions to make.
White, or red?
And if red,
With black seats,
Or black and red seats?

So after a chain of discussions,
The girl finally followed her heart and picked White.
Some love Red,
Others sided White...
But I suppose the little voice inside chose White,
Because on top of being a little more unique,
It was something she was less willing to part with.
If she feels Flashy Red any day,
She can always borrow her husband's 'ah beng qia' (MC's words).
Actually, I don't really know if it is about following the heart,
Because the heart was kinda spoilt for choices in the first place.
In any case,
White had my vote too!

Choosing what you can't live without,
Instead of what seduces you...
Sounds alot like love,
Doesn't it?

So if I discovered that I can live without someone (or something),
That I have been living without,
Doesn't it mean people often have to adapt,
To a situation they are force to live with?

Since the last post,
I have worked two 60+ hours week,
Flew to Sweden with my mother,
Suffered an 8-hour delay in flight,
Hopped over to Helsinki to meet Riikka,
Graduated in the Blue Hall with kompis,
Had many fabulous Haninge-Family reunions,
Enjoyed a Julfika,
Visited Skansen,
Met Mr & Mrs & Little Pagden in Växjö,
Couchsurfed in Göteborg,
Hung out with Ming in Copenhagen,
Developed wisdom tooth problems (and aches),
Stayed at the Palmers House in Bålsta,
Came back to work sulking,
Took Marjo around Singapore,
Hooked up with a nice girl,
And counted down to the new year with Bin.

That sounds like a lot of things,
But I could only do most of them,
Cos I was taking time off work.

I wanted to check last year's New Resolutions,
But I realised I made none!
However I did fulfill those of the year before.
I believe I still want similar things,
So here it goes now -

2008 New Year Resolutions

1. Travel to at least one city that I haven't been
2. Exercise at least twice a month
3. Do Happy Things
4. Learn about financial management & invest my CPF
5. Get rid of the word "assistant" in my namecard
6. Find that moment when I can say :
"I haven't been this happy for a long long time."

Let's rock!
